Dr. Raviender Bukkapatnam – Florida Urology Partners proudly announces that Dr. Raviender Bukkapatnam has been recognized as a Top Doctor in Urology, honoring his clinical excellence, leadership, and dedication to patient care. This accolade adds to his consistent ranking among “Tampa Metro’s Best Doctors” for four years running. A native Floridian, Dr. Bukkapatnam is one of the few physicians in the state with fellowship training in Female Urology, Reconstruction, and Voiding Dysfunction. He earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the nation’s top medical honor society. After completing urologic training in Tampa, he pursued advanced fellowship training at UCLA. Dr. Bukkapatnam specializes in treating voiding dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, female sexual dysfunction, pelvic pain, and urinary incontinence. Dr. Alexander Engelman - Cancer Center of South Tampa and Florida Urology Partners proudly announce that Dr. Engelman has been named a 2025 Top Doctor in Radiation Oncology, recognizing his exceptional clinical expertise, compassionate care, and commitment to advancing cancer treatment. A Tampa native, Dr. Engelman is board-certified in Radiation Oncology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology. He earned both his M.D. and a Master’s in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University, where he received the Cura Personalis Outstanding Service Award and Eisenberg Humanities Award for leadership and service. Dr. Engelman completed residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center and the Maryland Proton Treatment Center, gaining expertise in cutting-edge techniques such as brachytherapy, SBRT, Gamma Knife, CyberKnife, and proton therapy—an advanced, tissue-sparing technology. Before joining the Cancer Center of South Tampa, he served veterans at the CW Bill Young Bay Pines VA Medical Center, deepening his holistic approach to cancer care. Dr. Sam Fisher – Florida Urology Partners proudly announces that Dr. Sam Fisher has been named a 2025 Top Doctor in Urology, recognizing his expertise in male infertility, reproductive health, and minimally invasive surgery. A Clearwater native, Dr. Fisher earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, majoring in chemistry and art history, before completing his medical degree at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Jonathan Pavlinec – Florida Urology Partners proudly announces that Dr. Jonathan Pavlinec has been named a 2025 Top Doctor in Urology, honoring his outstanding clinical skill, surgical innovation, and compassionate patient care. A Florida native, Dr. Pavlinec is among the few urologists in the Southeast with dual fellowship training in robotic/laparoscopic surgery and endourology/stone disease, accredited by the Endourological Society. A board-certified urologist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Hochberg serves as Chief of Urology at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa. With over two decades of experience, he is known for his skill in robotic and laparoscopic surgery, female urinary incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. A nationally recognized proctor and trainer in robotic surgery, Dr. Hochberg has helped expand the use of the DaVinci Surgical System across the U.S. He also offers advanced treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), including GreenLight laser therapy, UroLift, and Aquablation, as well as expert care in kidney stone management and vasectomy reversal. Born and raised in Winter Park, Florida, Dr. Palmer has built a reputation for surgical excellence and compassionate patient care. He completed both his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Florida, graduating cum laude and earning election into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He went on to complete his residency at the Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts and pursued advanced fellowship training in Robotic Surgery and Laparoscopy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Palmer is among a select group of fellowship-trained robotic surgeons in the Tampa Bay area. His clinical interests include robotic surgery for prostate and kidney cancer, enlarged prostate (BPH), and ureteral blockages. He is proficient in the use of the da Vinci Xi and Si robotic systems.
