Aamir Hussain, M.D.

Aamir Hussain, M.D., is a board-certified radiation oncologist with elite national training and more than a decade of leadership in advanced radiation oncology, specializing in genitourinary and prostate cancer care.

Dr. Hussain completed his Radiation Oncology residency at UCLA Medical Center, where he was selected as Chief Resident — a distinction awarded for clinical excellence, leadership, and academic achievement. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, and completed his Internal Medicine internship at Mayo Clinic. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Rochester (NY) with dual concentrations in Biology and Management Studies.

A recognized authority in precision radiation therapy, Dr. Hussain has extensive expertise in stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), and intracranial and extracranial stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). He previously served as Director of Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy at an academic cancer center, leading the development of advanced radiosurgical programs and managing complex cases. He holds University of Pittsburgh Gamma Knife certification.

Dr. Hussain served as Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, and remains actively engaged in academic medicine, research, and physician education. His scholarly work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics (Red Journal), Neurosurgery, and Medical Physics.

He has been invited internationally as a Visiting Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College–Qatar and the National Center for Cancer Care & Research in Doha, where he lectured and provided physician training on advanced stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiation therapy techniques.
